Today's Blog is about Working with What You Got!!!
I, myself (and many other girlfriends) don't have the body I use to have, especially after having a child but, I know how to work with what I got!!! Before you can work with what you got, you have to analyze what you got. Find out which body shape is closest to yours from the following:
The Pear Shape Figure•Your upper body is noticeably smaller than your lower body.
•If you were to gain weight, most of it would go to your hips and thighs.
The Apple-Shaped Figure•Your upper body is noticeably larger than your lower body.
•If you were to gain weight, most of it would go to your waistline.
The Hourglass-Shaped Figure•You're very curvy with a clearly defined waist.
•If you were to gain weight, it would distribute evenly right to your curves.
The Rectangle-Shaped Figure•Your figure is straight up and down,you may have slight curves,but they're not defined.
•If you were to gain weight,it would distribute evenly throughout your frame.
If you are a Pear Shape Girlfriends: You should wear tops that accentuate you waist.. Placing a waist belt around your waist will work great with showing off your figure... You want to avoid loose fitted jeans or wide leg pants because those style will make you bottom appear bigger that it is.. and not in a good way. You can get away with shorter skirts because apple shapes tend to have nice legs. Wear v-neck shirts to accentuate your torso and show off what you are working with. Look for jeans that have back pockets with flaps, this will help give some curve to a flatter rear. Lighter washes and/or jeans with fading will add shape to your thighs.
The Hourglass-Shaped Girlfriend: If you are one of the Girlfriends who is blessed with an hourglass figure, then you are very fortunate. Since balance is always the goal, you do not need any help in this area, as the hourglass figure is considered by most to be the ideal female form. Your over all figure is the easiest to dress because most things look great on you.
Tops with V necks or scooped necklines looks great on your shape.Tops that sit at your waist is another great look for you. Look for jeans that are cut with larger hips, and a smaller waist. You also want to look for jeans that are slightly flared, or have a wide leg, this will balance out your hips. Mid-rise jeans are the way to go, especially if you are carrying some extra weight in the tummy, but low-rise jeans work great for you as well as long as they are not to low. Mostly every item of clothing is made for your shape. You should look for jeans that hug and lift your bottom. Larger back pockets that are spread far apart will make your bottom look fuller. If they have flaps on them, this is even better, as this adds some bulk to your bottom. Jeans with lighter fades on the thighs will help give them shape.
Also Spanx... Even Celebrities wear spanx and I have also heard of some celebrities double spanx. Spanx will smooth out any bumps or humps under your clothing and are worn by women of all sizes.
Also, the right bra will do wonders to every shape.. I wear Victoria Secret Extreme Push Ups and Deep Plunged bras.. Men love boobs and a smile..lol
No matter what size you are or how much you weight, Always work with what you got. First impressions make lasting impressions so always step out with your best food forward.
