Hey Girlfriends... Had to catch up one some girlfriendsonlineboutique.com work and school work so I couldn't blog yesterday. Anyway, here is today's topic:
The Club Scene: How Important is it to You?
I have to admit that there was a time when my weekly routine went Dante's Thursday, Loft Friday, Society Saturday and St. Louis Nights Sunday (yea I said Saint Louis Nights lol) and Monday Happy Hour. I admit it was fun for the few months it lasted but thinking back, I spent way too much money on nothing.
Now a days many girlfriends have hectic work schedule. Trying to balance school and work, children and these MEN can add alot of stress in your life. So much stress that by the time the weekend hit, you are overdue for a drink and in need of a GIRLS NIGHT OUT!!! But how much Clubbing is too much?
If your single without dependants- You can get up and go anytime you want too.. You can go as much as you want to as long as it doesn't effect you hustle. But Girlfriends remember that its not good to known as the chick that is at every club, every night.
If you are single with a child are children- 3 nights a week (and I'm tryna be nice to spare some Girlfriends feelings) is the absolute maximum and that's if you are lucky enough to have a babysitter. When you have dependents you are on call 24/7.. You can't fully take care of your babies if you are tired and hungover.. The kids are already bad... You being hungover is only going to make you snap off and have attitudes with the kids..lol Also, If you can't find a babysitter, STAY AT HOME, your not missing out on nothing and you can never spend too much time with your kids.
If you are in a relationship- Its up to whatever you and your guy agree upon. Men seem think that they can go out with they homeboys all the time but when we go out with our Girlfriends, its a problem.. Whatever... But we all know that the club is full of women looking for men and men looking for hookups. Also, become comfortable enough to party together (this won't work for the Playa Girlfriends.lol), make it a dinner and dancing night.
Look at the Cost of Going Out: Can you really afford it?
These Figures are from the last couple of times I have went out:
Loft- admission
$10 before 12
$20 after 12
Drinks- If you gotta buy em..
3@ $7.00 each =$21.00 ( I know alot of Girlfriends drink way more than 3)

Total-$60-$70 for one night... Multiply that but the # of days you go out... and include outfits and accessories.

Ms. Kat, Stop Chasing the Dog!
Ok Girlfriends.. This whole maintaing my own website this is new to me. With feedback from my good Girlfriend Davisha you all can now add comments without signing up... NO HATER allowed and no Arguing and Stuff.
Why is it that so many Girlfriends feel that they need a man to complete them. I mean its not wrong wanting companionship but you should not have to put up with a dog. When I speak to you Girlfriends I speak from my own experiences and listening to the Old Girlfriends.. Let me rephrase that Old WISE Girlfriends.
From my own experiences I have found that making a man beg makes him respect you more...
For instance:
Your boyfriend goes out with his friends.. He calls you at 3am saying that he is going "across" with his friends (to east saint) ... You like "OK" you are sleep anyways... You wake up at 10am and see no missed calls and no boyfriends.. You get worried because that's what good girlfriends do... Then, at 2pm this fool call talking about he feel asleep at his boy house because he was drunk.
Me myself would put the dog out since he like to play with Bitches with fleas.. It would take a whole lot of begging and spending to repair the damage if its even repairable.
I can also understand if you let him know how you feel, let him explain himself and you keep a bad attitude for a couple of days just to be mean.
I can also understand punching him upside the head a couple of times.. Only if he the type that won't hit you back.. Don't want no busted up girlfriends from reading this blog.
But I don't understand you saying "Ok Babe.. Well when are you coming home . I missed You" WTF
Don't be a Dumb Girlfriend.. Men are only gonna do what you let them..
If a man is interested in you, please believe they are gonna find a way to make you notice...
So Ms. Kat stop running to the bar chasing the Dog for a drink. Luv yourself first by having your own.. Whatever the Dog do is extra...
Ms. Kat leave the Dog alone if he hasn't answered you phone call are text. Believe me.. they will call even if they girlfriends is in the same house.. When I was single.. I would say "You take my number down because if its left up to me Ill forget to call you." having the upper hand. lol
Ms. Kat don't give yourself away just because. Look at every dog you sleep with.. One day he could be your baby daddy... Can you live with that?
Ms. Kat put you and your kitten before any dog. You have to love yourself and provide for your offspring before you can take in a stray.

Men Problems... These Fools Love to Mess Up
So, one of my close friends called me yesterday with a situation.... A Dun Dun Duuuuun MAN PROBLEM...Were going to use the name Kisha and Tim to explain the story... Check this Out
When she got there Tim's mother was walking in also with an unfamiliar girl that Kisha though was just another family member....Kisha made herself comfortable, waiting on Tim to come out of surgery.. When Tim finally came up guess who that unfamiliar family member was..... His Chic!!!!!!

Now why in the hell would he invite Kisha if he knew he had another chick there. He said the the girl was..... What Girlfriends..... HIS FRIEND...
HIS FRIEND that was flufflin pillows and holding the straw while Tim take a sip n Shit..
Then he had the nerve to call her and act like nothing ever happen.. Never mentioning the girl.. WTF
So Kisha's ex boyfriend got into a bad car accident in which he shattered his arm and had to be rush to the hospital. He had someone to call her and tell her what was going on. Now Tim is Kisha's Ex for a reason.. They once lived with one another and had a great relationship until Tim started following his BFF (men seem to have them to..lol)... He started cheating on Kisha and not holding his weight financially.. They broke it off but continued to talk occasionally.. Recently they began talking more, and you know how men do, He started talking about how they should get back together and that he is ready for real this time... So when they called her to the hospital she went...

Ok Girlfriends... I have been working hard trying to get this website off the ground. Long nights of reading, typing and brainstorming. I have been working on Girlfriends since March of 2010 and now it is finally open. I am proud of myself and honestly realizes that hard work pays off.
But, Where there is someone trying to make something of themselves, there are 10 other haters wanting them to fail.
First, I will be talking about the SILENT HATER!!!!
A Silent Hater is someone who knows that you are on top of your game and actually trying to better yourself and they say..... Nothing
Ex. You just got you hair done and its FIRE.. I mean all the men are looking and other women are giving you compliments.. Then you get to your "friend" house... and she don't say nothing just look at you and get quiet.. Y'all get in the car to go to the club..... still nothing...

Second, There is the NeverWillIGivePropsBecauseI'mJealous Hater...
Ex. You have started you own business and is working hard to grow it... You let one of your family members in on your plan and show them a preview... This is what you get..." What I have learned from Haters is to continue to do you and F@$K what people say. Never put your trust in man and always put your trust in GOD...
Most of the Haters are jealous because you are blessed with whatever gift, talent or lifestyle God has blessed you with.. If they would spend more time bettering themselves, there would be alot more successful and educated people.
